How It Works

SO Tiny Homes are intended to be fully-functional standalone dwellings. Our home designs include a full kitchen and bath, high-end appliances, and professional grade windows and doors. We use kiln-dried 2x4 lumber for framing, and finish materials of the highest quality. For increased efficiency in heating and cooling, we recommend 100% air-sealed spray foam, which also adds rigidity to the frame.

Our trailers are custom-built with the needs of tiny homes in mind. They have dual or triple 7000-pound axles (for a 14,000 or 21,000-pound capacity) and come with integrated trailer brakes. The deck has extra supports built in, giving us a solid foundation to work from. The standard model is a bumper pull design. Gooseneck designs are available upon request.

Tiny Home Design

At SO Tiny Homes, we know that tiny living works best when a home is custom built to meet the lifestyle of the owner, rather than forcing them to modify their lives to fit a space. We custom-craft our tiny homes to your specifications and never skimp on quality. From layout to finish work, appliances, and a variety of unique storage features, you will be intimately involved in the creation of your home every step of the way.

Production

We build your home from start to finish in our shop located in Central Point, Oregon. From rough framing to interior and exterior finishes, we ensure the very best craftsmanship at every stage of the building process. We rely on professional plumbing and electrical contractors of the highest caliber so that your home meets our exceptional standards in every way.

The palette of materials we use are not only durable but innovative and sustainable as well. Whenever possible, we source these materials locally or regionally. We strive to provide you with a comfortable, sustainable dwelling that will last for years and years.
